Thoughts

Hi Dad, At this time of year we think of you with fondness. The laughter, tears of joy your love for us all. Polly, Bonnie and Rose are all doing really well and growing up fast. You'd love them all and be as proud of them as we are. It is with sadness that I had to tell you, your Podger has been ill for sometime, coughing, lack of breath and generally lethargic. It transpires she has Lung Cancer. Its' pants she doesn't deserve this. So we will do everything to make her time with us happy, comfortable and as pain free as possible. She isn't ready to be with you just yet but keep her side of the bed warm. Love you always. Fiona and Chris xxxx

Hi Dad, It's been another strange Christmas with this Covid-19 still looming over us all. We were able to have family celebrations this year however your darling wife had a chest infection and therefore we didn't have Christmas day with her just a cuppa and a quick visit as she was very tired from coughing and not sleeping. Boxing Day was a better day with Mum and we had Sue, Chris and Polly round for Christmas Lunch and present opening. We are all going on the Water Cress Line on 1st January 2022 as the train will be illuminated for the Christmas season. We know how much you enjoyed riding on the steam train and we will miss your humour and laughter. Peter and Clare had a beautiful wedding, we didn't know if it would go ahead but are so glad all went well. You got mentioned several times : Peter follows in your footsteps with his crackers and brie, always has a clean hankie and of course enjoying a drop of brandy with family and friends. Clare looked stunning and her Family are all so lovely and have welcomed Peter as a Son as we have welcomed Clare as a daughter. We are so sorry you never met her you would have loved her as we do. Polly looked gorgeous in her flower girl outfit and enjoyed playing with Hugh the little pageboy, Clare's nephew and Alice Clare's niece. Thinking of you with fond memories and love in our hearts, miss you, All our love as always Fiona and Chris.
